Support for Men

In addition to counseling, there are various other in-person or online support options to help individuals recover, heal, and find freedom in areas of struggle or pain.   


1 in 6: Online support groups for men who were sexually abused or assaulted (free).


Ananias Foundation: They offer groups, courses, and counseling to provide guidance and encouragement for individuals who want to stop hurting the ones they love (free).


Authentic Manhood: Resources that provide clear and practical biblical insights on God's design for manhood and help set men up to live lives of truth, passion and purpose


Celebrate Recovery: Faith-based, online or in-person groups, helping individuals find freedom from hurts, hang-ups, and habits, including things such as codependency, anger issues, sexual addiction, adult child of family dysfunction, eating disorders, control issues, perfectionism, anxiety, depression, sexual, physical, emotional or mental abuse.


Facing the shadows: In-person, 14-week group, for men seeking freedom from sex/porn addiction. Location: Vancouver, WA.


False Love: Online, faith-based 9-part series on overcoming sexual sin from porn or adultery (free).


Grief Share: Faith-based, online or in-person, 13-week support group, where participants will learn helpful ways of coping with grief, in all its unpredictability—and gain solid support each step of the way.


Harboring Hope: Online, 13-week course, for betrayed spouses.


He's Restored: A 9 session, confidential, closed small group Bible study for men of any age who have had a role in one or more pregnancy’s resulting in an elective abortion(s) at some point in their past (Free). Group location: Vancouver, WA.


Hope for Healing: Online, 17-week course, designed to bring healing to unfaithful spouses.


Into the Deep: Calling men out of isolation, into Christ-centered community through gatherings and conferences.


Learning to Live, Learning to Love: In-person, 30-week class for men in Hood River, OR to address: domestic violence, anger, addictive behaviors, infidelity, etc. or those who simply want to break free from destructive and malignant behavior patterns and learn how to put together healthy relationships. Location: Hood River, Dalles, or Hermiston Oregon.


Men in the Battle: Online, faith-based video curriculum and weekly groups for men (18+) who want freedom from unwanted sexual behavior. Open enrollment occurs at certain times in the year.


Men of Peace: This self-paced course walks men through the three-fold process of Information, Transformation, and Reformation, educating and guiding men who are ready to take ownership of their abusive behaviors and surrender themselves fully to the Lord in true and lasting repentance. The course is designed to be used within the context of an already established counselor, pastor, or mentor relationship.


MankindIn-person or online, 32-week faith-based program, for men who have used abusive and controlling behaviors.


Mountain Ministries: A one-year Christ-centered residential addiction recovery program for men in Kelso, WA (free).


New Earth Recovery: Faith-based recovery program for drug and alcohol addiction in Mt. Vernon, WA.


Path for Men: Online course for overcoming sexual addiction (free)


Reboot Recovery: 3 options to choose from. All are 12-week, faith-based, peer-led courses. 1) Trauma REBOOT: helps everyday people to overcome trauma and embrace a brighter future. 2) REBOOT Combat Recovery: helpsveterans, active-duty military and their families heal from service-related trauma. 3) REBOOT First Responders: helps first responders and their families heal from critical incident stress and trauma.
